Art Commissions
This is the first commissioned birthday card that I made.
This is the front of the second commissioned card that I made. Done in ink and colored pencil.
This is the inside of the card. The lighter area on the tree was left more blank for a signature to be placed there.
Done with mixed media.
This is the first commissioned miniature painting that I did. It was done in watercolor pencil with the sailboat done in ink. Fun fact: This picture was actually made for my chiropractor. We showed her a picture of a similar painting I’d made, and she asked if I could make one for her.
“Finn”, 2023; 8″ x 10″, colored pencil on paper. The dog is a red merle Australian Shepherd.
This is part of a two-part pet portrait commission for a lady from my church. It was the first pet portrait that I’d ever done, and I am glad it turned out well!
“Oliver”, 2023; 8″ x 10″, colored pencil on paper.
This is the second picture in my first pet portrait commission. At that point, it was the best picture that I’d ever done of a cat.
Close-up of the portrait of Oliver, showing more detail of his face and some of his fur.
“Jasmine”, 2024; 8″ x 10″, colored pencil on paper.
I am particularly proud of this piece. I thank God that it turned out the way it did. It was a lot of work! The people it was made for are happy with it, which makes me so glad!
This is a close-up of Jasmine’s portrait, showing her face in more detail.
The client found a good frame for it and decided to keep the mat.

Non-Paid Projects
This is a tented sign that I made in 2021. Done with a chisel-edge marker on paper.
This is a 100% wool child’s hat that I knitted. This picture was taken prior to felting it.
This is a 100% cotton scarf that I knitted for myself. Its purpose is primarily decorative, but it can also provide some warmth.
Cards
This card was made using a method that essentially turned regular Crayola markers into watercolors. The greeting in black was done over top with a brush-nib paint pen.
The background here was using the same method. It is something I found on Youtube. Basically, you scribble a plastic bag with marker, quickly dab your finger in water and rub that over the marker, then press the card down over the bag.
The splotchy background here is of the same method, I think.
This card was done mostly with markers and colored pencil. The “HIP HIP HOORAY” was cut out from wrapping paper and glued to the card.
This was done with marker and colored pencil.
This was done with a brush-nib paint pen.
I think this design is fun. This was done in marker and colored pencil.
I think this was originally a birthday card, but I cut off the bottom to convert it to a general note card. Done with a brush-nib paint pen.
